The Milwaukee Chapter of the AGO hosted a POE (Pipe Organ Encounter) - the American Guild of Organists wildly successful program of introducing young musicians to the pipe organ this past summer. From July 18-23, students utilized two significant Milwaukee-area Schantz pipe organs as part of their week together. Pictured are the assembled students and faculty in the gallery of Saint Jude the Apostle (III/40 - 2009). Also utilized was the organ at Shattuck Auditorium (IV/69 - 1967) of Carroll University in nearby Waukesha. |
